I just ordered 2 jugs. I wish I could afford more, but I just dropped $75 at Advance last night. Over the weekend they had a 33% off online orders coupon that I used on a 5 gallon jug of break cleaner.

i just finished my order and it jumped up to 22.99 a jug so $50 picked up or so for both of them. Screw that. So did anyone else manage to get them to check out at 13.99? The site is now showing 22.99 as the price.

 

I got my receipt here for 3 @ 14. And my cousin-in-law bought 16 @ $14. No joke. He cleared out a few stores.

It does say in big red letters above it:

So...they found they were selling it for a loss and then changed their mind?

The worst thing is that it was showing up in my cart at $13.99, and it was not tell I had my completed receipt that it upped the price. I spent 20min on the phone waiting for customer service and got no one. So I guess I will have to go up to the store on my way home and cancel the order in store.

 

I just stopped by the store, and the clerk informed me that the price was a mistake at corporate. All the blends of Rotella are 13.99 except the T6 full synthetic, which is 22.99. I cancelled my order because they would not honor the original price.

 

So you had a receipt for $13.99 and they didn't honor it? That sucks. I guess I'll have to stop by just to cancel it too then.

I didn't have the receipt, I had reserved it for pickup at the store. Fail on my part, I should have just paid online.

So I kicked over a few displays, threw jugs of oil at the manager, and peed on the cash register.

Or at least I thought about it as I said, "okay" and walked calmly back to my car.

 

I paid online with in store pick up. It did not change the price until after I hit complete.

 

Well that sucks, I'm picking mine up after work. I hope they honor the $13.99. It's paid already.

 

You think it's paid already. Your email receipt should say that you aren't charged until you pick it up.

 

It doesn't say on my receipt and I paid with my PayPal. Maybe that would be the difference. I'll let you know when I pick them up after 5pm.

 

Bought 6. Probably going to buy at least 6 more. Running lemons cars that leak oil uses up a LOT of oil.

Just picked mine up for the dealio price, paid online with cc. fwiw they had a similar deal back in the beginning of March, so if it comes back, OP needs to bump this thread.

 

Yup, back to 22.99. Lame. I have 2 jugs already but the Jetta is due for an oil change so I was looking to stock up! Wal Mart has it for like $23.99 and there's one a block away from here so not worth the trouble.

 

Just picked up my 3 gallons. No problems. Had it ready. $14each. Score. Thanks OP. time for beer.
