Bond 10-29-2010 11:56 AM

I don't think so. Make a meat n greet thread before you get reamed.

xdavidscenex 10-29-2010 10:25 PM

xdavidscenex 10-29-2010 11:00 PM

im guessing no one knows the answer so they try to be humorious to avoid the question

rider384 10-29-2010 11:10 PM

I was gonna type up a rant as to how retarded you are, but I'll just leave this one to hustler.

xdavidscenex 10-29-2010 11:15 PM

im retarded? ok im just always using aem and hondata for all my honda setups and i move to a miata and ask a simple question and get made fun of. yes im a noob. you were there once glad your doing your part helping the new generation maybe ill go buy a body kit for my miata instead of trying to boost it thanks. (i was being sarcastic about the body kit)

lordrigamus 10-29-2010 11:22 PM

I'm willing to bet because you didn't post anything about your setup, didn't mention what your intentions are, didn't bother to search, lack of effort to even spell the hand full of words you spewed out correctly and your lame ass three word intro, nobody gives a shit.

xdavidscenex 10-29-2010 11:26 PM

just want to know if safc2 piggyback will work with the setup and be able to tune good afr

baron340 10-29-2010 11:30 PM

Word of advice from another former Honda guy... the miata community is 1. a lot more intelligent 2. a lot less willing to spew half-assed speculative information and 3. much more willing to ---- rape you with a flaming baseball bat for asking dumb ass questions.

Now that I'm done giving advice... quit using SAFC, they suck on anything. Megasquirt is too cheap to even bother with crappy ass band-aids.

Edit: After reviewing your setup.. just buy a damn Megasquirt and be done with it.

xdavidscenex 10-29-2010 11:32 PM

alright thanks ill dump the crappy safc and start doing things right

lordrigamus 10-29-2010 11:42 PM

Now your on the right track. Why waste the time and money on a Safc when you can have so much more with a Megasquirt?

dustinb 10-30-2010 12:06 AM

safc 2 will work on a 97 but it's pretty useless. I had it on my car and received very little gains after an hour dyno tune session. Doesn't really let you do anything. Go stand alone or at least a capable piggy back if it's uber cheap (AEM f/ic or Greddy E-Manage).

weezerfan5487 10-30-2010 12:13 AM

Megasquirt FTW!

18psi 10-30-2010 01:34 AM

Now that the ritual hazing is out of the way, had you done any searching you would find EVERY BIT OF INFO regarding why safc is such a raging pile of shit in the many threads we've discussed it.

Plain and simple, its worse than band aids, which are utter shit.
We don't mind answering questions so long as you put in at least 10 minutes worth of effort and search for the basics.

That's all this place really asks from you.
Get proper engine management and you'll be happy. (ms is popular but not the only thing out there).
