This. Any damage on the quarters, other than PDR sized dents, totaled. Do NOT take it to a shop approved by your insurance company. They are in cahoots with the ins co to increase the damage on your car and total it. Take it to an independent.

 

At this point I'm hoping that the car will be totaled. The quarters appear straight but the rear panel would need to be replaced and the floor would a slight pull to straighten it out. There's also a squeaking noise coming from the rear suspension on the passenger side that wasn't there before.

It's a low mileage car that was in good condition with a clean title, so if it's totaled it will save me from having to file a diminished value claim as well. It's just really shitty to spend so much time on a car only to have it destroyed. Serves me right for wasting my time on a wire tuck I guess...
