Should I buy it???
Guys got a white 90 miata w/ 227K miles on it for sale here. The car was actually pretty nice until it got caught in a hail storm this past spring which pretty much destroyed it(softball size). The title is Salvage from a previous incident. The car has cross drilled and slotted rotors, with new pads. It has a lightweight fly wheel with a new clutch that was done about a year ago. The rear window of the softtop has been replaced(not as tight I prefer). The car comes with a set of 16" wheels and tires(they're okay) and the stock wheels and tires. The car is misssing the center console and power window switch b/c the guy started to part it out and that was as far as he got. He said there is oil getting down in the spark plug well, but not on the plugs, just on the side where the wire hooks in(possibly the valve cover gasket). Here is what I was thinking, strip it for whatever other parts aren't needed and sell them off, probably sell the 16" wheels and tires and throw on a suspension once it is all stripped down and use it for autoX.
the guy wants $1000 for it.

then, freshen up motor and boost away
