Default Single diagonal roll bar opinion needed.

Upgrading from my Autopower street bar.

Anyone with Hard Dog bars. Single or double diagonal on the Hard Core bar? I'll be doing the hard top version that sits a touch lower and farther back. If you have the single diagonal do you hate it blocking the rear view? Not a big deal?

Single or double? Anyone feel strongly either way?

I've got a chance to pick up a new single diagonal for a reasonable price, not a steal but it's new. Basically save the shipping costs. With shipping figured in that's about $200 less than the boss frog clearview, HD double diagonal or a Kirk.

Just don't know if the single diagonal is going to be too annoying in the line of sight.

It was a little annoying at first but certainly not $200 annoying. I'd go with the single if it meant saving $200.

Paul,

Looking at your sig it looks like you are using the double diagonal on both cars now. If you've had both if the $200 wasn't an issue is it a clear choice to go double?

The single is a little annoying but you get used to it.

cueball; I know it's only an aesthetic thing but; to me the double diagonal ones look much better on the car.

Rafa,

That's the ---- "everything needs to be matched and balanced" nature of human beings. We like balance and symmetry. I figure a single diagonal will balance out my Naca duct on the driver side headlamp!

The single diagonal takes a little getting used to, but it's no big hassle. Go for it!

I think the single looks good. I still have to get another roll bar for my other miata. Im thinking of going with the hardcore single diag for my turbo car and moving the harddog sport bar over to the 96r. And it saves lives....

Looking at all the pics of that car before and after the wreck. When you look in the rearview mirror how is the visibility with the top of the bar? My autopower sits back and low and cuts through the middle of the rear view mirror. Where does the hard dog hard top bar look when looking out the mirror. I know the non hardtop model is pretty much out of the sight line. What about these?

I am also on the fence with this issue. Id like to hear everyones opinions.. weight savings with single? I think they both look badass so its a hard decision.
