Smacked curb, have new noise.
Wet leaves and poor driving left me with a big chunk out of a rear hollow spoke on my 94 c package. Tweaked the rear wheel 2.5% out of alignment. Put on a new wheel with the salvaged the crappy tire and got an alignment. Nothing appeared broken or bent with the car on the lift. It drives fine but has a new noise.
Sounds like I'm riding on off road knobbies. Terrible tire roar sound. Nothing feels wrong but something must be. Any ideas? Broken, bent, tweaked the rear dif internals? I hit the curb dead sideways. I'm sure I'm not the 1st. Anyone else experienced this? It really sounds like I'm driving on off road tires. Can't tell where it's coming from, it sounds like it's coming from everywhere.
Any help greatly appreciated. Would like to have some idea what I'm facing before I take it to my not so trusty mechanic.
