Default So finally after 3 years...:D

EDIT: Posting up a decent mod list of everything for posterity...I'm bored and in between classes...

Car:
1990 Mazda Miata:
Original 1.6 motor/trans, 138k miles
Compression results coil->rad
170
165
170
175

Drivetrain:
ACT Xtreme pressure plate, exedy stock disc
Jun 9lb flywheel
MazdaComp Motor Mounts
MMR solid diff mounts
Torsen swap
Koyo 55mm Radiator, stock fan
A/C and P/S delete

Suspension:
Koni Yellows
Old FM Springs
FCM tophats
99 front sway, stock rear
racing beat adjustable endlinks (front)
R-pack tie rods (waiting to go in...I dread this)
Shot bushings...(dreading this too)
Kosei K1-S 16x7.5. 215/40R16 Falken FK452s

Body:
Shitty respray because it was better than primer until I can afford/have time to change it
Robbins tan glass top
ugly recovered stock seats
Smoked front turn signals
Hella E-codes
Harddog M2 Sport

Turbo Setup:
Stock Greddy Manifold with relief cuts (I know, it sucks, but it was cheap...)
-New studs, nordlocks, audi magic copper nuts.
Fresh 0 mile rebuilt TD04H-15G
-Stainless oil feed line
-Silicone drain line/fitting setup
Turbo Blanket...
Racing Mazda 2.5" Downpipe (waiting to put exhaust on until I can weld a flex pipe in)
2.5" custom mandrel bent, dynomax exhaust (resonator and super turbo...also cheap...I added the resonator to eliminate annoying-ness N/A)
2.5" test pipe...
550cc injectors w/ DIY dual feed rail
Braineack MS in parallel on high res w/ 90-93MSPNP basemap
Autometer Boost
AEM wideband
Moss A-pillar replacement pod gauge
Ghettofied Custom FMIC (10x12x3 core) w/ turboXS RFL BOV (waiting on some piping to get this thing in and done)

Still need the fun stuff for EBC...but I figure I should get MS where I want it at wastegate pressure first...

/End Edit...

Way to go man! You beat Hustler to turboing your car! (not that that's a hard thing to do)

lol. Once some more IC piping comes in within the next day or so I'm heading over and finishing up. More pictures will be coming, videos are a must..

I had my first O-**** moment when the car wouldn't start today, a bad wire in the harness was causing the coils to short so it wouldn't get spark, but sometimes it would...pretty shitty, fouled a set of plugs too. Changed them, fixed the harness, started right up on the first try.

THE SOUND OF AN OPEN DOWNPIPE TURBO SPOOL IS OMG AMAZING....can't wait to actually get it tuned smoothly so I can romp on it.

I hear you there. I'm kinda wishing I had taken some time off of school after getting my associate's degree, but instead I opted for more school and epic debt instead. I think I'd probably go for it myself (and may, come winter break), but the thing holding me back is that the miata is my only car and I have to drive 400 miles a week and I've seen the project car as a DD thing go quite badly before.

Its my DD also. I'm a senior and next semester I will be traveling 40-50 miles a day for student teaching.

I knew if I did not do this now, I would not get a chance to until I graduated. By doing it now, it forces me to fix the bugs now and over the rest of winter break.

Student Loans FTL...I feel you on that one.
