soft top does and dont's
I have done 'a couple' of tops. Here's some tips that seem to make it go a lot smoother.
I wouldn't get with a new rain rail, if you take the proper care upon removal, even if there are a few cracks, some duct tape(the real stuff) will be sufficient.
Don't re-rivet the rainrail to the top. The new rivets you'll find and use from the hardware store will be too thick and once you re-attach the top w/ the 13 bolts the rivets will leave a large leaking gap.
When re-attaching the guide wires, drill the hole out to accept the next size, IIRC it's a 1/4" rivet (unless your fortunate enough to have metric rivets).
Clean out you drains.
It's a pretty straight forward process. Have fun! and good luck!

Took me 12 hrs, but I was doing it for a hot brunett with D *****. I kept getting distracted. She was kinky. I may not of made money, but it was worth my time.

Glad to hear you didn't have any problems. Its not really a big deal, but when its cold as **** nothing goes together right. Really wish I spent the extra 250 for the canvas looking back on it, but the top I bought was like 550$ already.. Oh well.
