Hey,

I was just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem before:

Just some background first. I have never used my soft top since purchasing the car; hard top has always been on.

The latches on my soft top, after trying to close it, aren't "clicking." The spring lever doesn't meet the "unlock" button. I can see from old markings that they did touch at one point however.

Does anyone know a remedy to my problem?

I have the EXACT same problem but with only 1 of my latches. it closes, but doesn't click into place or lock. Meaning a tiny flick of the finger makes it unlock. That pisses me off. I think the only remedy is to replace it.

same here driver side clicks but pass side wont. every lil bump and it falls down... but stays latched so i dont care

 

There's a DIY to fix it on m.net.

I removed the small rubber pad that is on the top side of the latch to give it more room to go past the fulcrum point.
