Anyone have a spare alternator laying around? I just bought a new alternator a few months before I decided to 1.8 swap and would like to continue to use it. I was thinking if someone had a spare alternator or pulley for one off the 1.8 I could continue to use my new alternator on the 1.8. I would just swap the crank pulley but that's not an option with a harmonic balancer.

Any ideas or thoughts? anyone want to sell or give me a pulley off of a 1.8 alternator if that would work? I'm not sure if the pulley's are the same size even. Enlighten me?

 

I'm sure you could find one off your local craiglist or miata club pretty cheap..?
