Default Stolen: 6UL wheels in Seattle

Hey guys, long time lurker but never been a big poster. Hoping someone here may be able to help me out.

Monday (9/12) around 3am, three thieves stole my tungsten 15x8 6ULs with 205/50-15 BFG Rival s tires right from my car. My neighbors caught the guys right as they were leaving, and promptly called the police. Unfortunately they were not able to get the crooks license plate before they drove away. The car was parked right in front of my house, located in North Seattle. I got this setup around 5 months ago, needless to say, I am very bummed.

If anyone sees these up for sale anywhere please get back to me! I'm not sure if this is the best forum to post, if anyone can give recommendations on other sites to post this, please suggest.

Thanks for reading!

That sucks. You a member of any of the PNW Miata Facebook groups? MiataNW, MiataNW Club? Would be worth posting there.

Yes, definitely post in the local groups everywhere you can.

Sucks man, I feel for you. I had this happen many years ago on a daily driver and it was misery. I hope there is a special place in hell for these degenerates. Have you reported it to your insurance yet?

Thanks guys, I have not posted on those yet, im not really up to date on what are the most active sites. Please keep recommending sites!

As for insurance, I only have liability on the Miata, and it looks like renters insurance doesnt cover auto theft :(

Just a thought for the future , I've heard of a number of stolen wheels being recovered because the owner taped a note / sticker to the inside of the wheel . The note said something to the effect that they were the property of ________ and if they were not attached to _______ car licence plate _________ that they had been stolen and to please contact the police. Won't help right away but the next time they get the rubber replaced or a flat fixed the joke can be on them. Sorry to here of your loss , seems there're ******** everywhere. Fred B

I like the idea of taping a note on on the outside of the barrel... Will definitely be doing that on the next set of wheels.

Thanks for the support guys, its helping restore my faith in us car guys.
