I have noticed for a couple months now that there is a pretty loud pop that i hear when braking. It sounds like it is coming from under the drivers side somewhere. It is just one pop and it doesnt happen every time. Seems louder if it has been sitting for a while without being driven. Anybody else heard this noise?

Bent or missing brake ped shims cause such sound. Also a cracked swaybar mounts are causing popping sounds.

hmm, I'm getting a similar sound as well. Curious to hear what other think it could be.
