Alright guys... I really like the way stripes look on miatas but i cant seem to figure out what to go with... 2 small and one large? 2 medium? And what color... I have a white miata with black number 24 on both sides of the car and a black soft top and have random color stickers surrounding the car... My first impression was to go black, but i have seen some sweet combonations of red and green or blue and red on white cars.. Any advice/ direction in what you think would look good?

BTW I think think the best color combo is either red with 2 white stripes or blue with 2 white stripes. I'm too cheap to repaint

What a disappointment! I expected a huge burnout or something form a miata.. lol.

I have to say, Red with Silver stripes is kinda sexy... But I hate stripes.

 

This isn’t much of a site for esthetic changes on a Miata.. that is more of a Miata.net topic.. I know a few folks on here do a fair amount of show mods but it's not really talked about all that much.

That said stripes look like ***, not Beyonce *** but more of a Rosanne Barr ***.

I suggest you don't do it but if you do then just go with something about the same color of the car but add a pearl to it or a flat finish something very subtle..

gunmetal on white would look hot.

stripes are a hit or miss. My car had them when I bought it (albeit in white). I repainted them in silver because it looks a lot better.

 

do one fat ******* stripe down the middle and then two smaller ones to each side, in yellow

 

Two stripes, classic Cobra style. My car is a factory Crystal White so I did black stripes but, aesthetically, I think your color combo depends more on what color your other exterior/interior accessories are, especially your top.

you could just find one of those road painting trucks and ask him to give you some nice yellow skunk stripes. one of them could even be one of those fancy dashed lines.
