Why wouldn't I? It would self-regulate. Wiring could be adapted...

Unfortunately I think y8s alternator won't work for me because it won't be available until tomorrow night. I'm still trying to get my dyno tune in before saturday.

Any other orphan alternators out there?

60/65A output instead of 80A. They also output less voltz, most in the 13.5V area.

Just got my used NB alternator shipped from planet miata. Will install when I get home from work.
