Stuttering
So I just finished with the new oil pump and everything was just fine. Driving a little spirited nothing big, hit a puddle of water, rpms wrapped up a little bit and herd a single clack and now stuttering only under load. All the IC pipes are secured tightly all vacuum lines are secure. What could be my problem?
Does the stuttering occur throughout the entire powerband? Any sounds? Do you have proper vacuum? Any change in A/F ?
If anything, feel free to write a book describing your problem, the more info the better. As for "stutter on load" I'm sure we could feed you 200000000x causes of it.

The stutter starts around 3k and persists untill at least 5 when I let off. Yes I should have also mentioned that when this happened the A/F also suddenly went full lean at the same time. It wasn't doing this before just after the clack.
Blimey, that's a bit pessimistic.
OP, try looking under the bonnet for water in the plugwells. I'm curious as to how hitting water made you hit the redline though...

Blunt, yes. Pessimistic, I don't really think so.
Yeah, I'm thinking there are more guilty conscience details still omitted from the story. Somebody was goosing the throttle to play with wheel spin on a wet road and went full lean under boost near or at the rev limiter and broke something in his engine. Did he starve the pickup in the tank by hotdogging with too little fuel in the tank? Who knows?
Seriously asking for help and hiding details don't exactly walk the primrose path together holding hands. Being forthcoming and asking for help have an intimate relationship with each other.
On a constructive note, how about a compression test? Testers are available at the auto parts store for $15 to $20.

WOW. The things people will say just to try and make somebody look foolish. Anyway yes I forgot to add that it went lean at that point until I went back and re-read what I had typed. Also I think that it is possibly a tuning issue and not mechanical being that the car runs fine when its not under heavy load. What I meant by the water making the rpms jump was wheel spin. No goosing just light to med throttle, hit the water, tires broke a little bit, rpms went up, clack, now sputtering.
Let me add that I have checked the head gasket, IC piping, Vacuum lines, and fuel lines and they all seem fine.
