Default swapping 1.6 firing order to 1.8 ... possible ?

Hey all,

I'm doing a swap right now and forgot to buy the FM swap bracket. I don't want to wait for it to ship so lets assume I somehow modified the existing NA coil pack to fit onto the NB motor.

So the firing order on my 1.6 pack is 2-3-4-1. I understand that as coil A fires 2-3 then coil B fires 4-1. Can I simply connect the plug wires from coil A to coil B to match the 4-1-2-3 order that my 99 motor expect ?

Thanks!

Nevermind, I figured out from reading the swap guide it would be easier to swap the signal wire under the packs. /thread. LOL

I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve. The firing order for 1.6 and 1.8 is the same. It sounds like you are trying to run a 1.8 engine with 1.6 electronics so just leave the original coil configuration.
