I guess the jokes on me, cause I bought my first turbo kit from this dude. It was a T3/T4 chinacharger with a tubular cheap chinese stainless **** steel that resembled the BEGI tubular manifold, and an outlet elbow. I actually got this setup to work and used a FM Voo-doo box for FMU. I took me forever though...I had to fabricate all kinds of ****. I think it was like 3 months? The car actually felt pretty wicked for 8psi. Then after no ****, like 500 miles, the turbo decided it didn't want to stay together anymore; and the CHRA bearings blew apart. The cheap POS manifold cracked also. So I wasted $600. Ended up buying a cast manifold from FM, along with the turbine outlet and SS downpipe. I put over 20,000 miles on a SR20 T25 that I rebuilt, and haven't had a single issue. The first rule and second rule of fight club is you do not talk about fight club, but the 3rd rule should be...You do not buy cheap chinese garbage from an ebay user named ILOVETACOTACO.

Excellent confession Thirdgen. The mods should copy this into the EBay Turbo Kit sticky thread.

I've had good luck (and service) from Ilovetacotaco and their cast manifold from this kit and have put 8000 miles on...though I only spent $99 on it and wouldn't spend more than that on it. I spent less than $1400 for all my turbo parts and ended up with a brand new Garrett T3 and 2.5" FM turbo exhaust and ALL other parts, so I can't see why I should spend $1799 on an incomplete eBay kit. If I wanted a pre-made kit, A BEGi S is only $30 more anyway!

My first kit was a ebay kit. total $875.00 shipped. Another guy tried to install it, and said screw it. I got extra injectors, 2 bov's, and a afpr.

I sold the kit for $800 and kept the injectors, extra BOV, and afpr.
And bought a FM kit already attached to a tranny and motor for $850.00 and $200 shipping.

My second car has one of those manifolds. If I don't weld it, It will break into three pieces. Two major cracks.

Yeah, I'm glad I forked over the $60 to get a decent manifold. My ss autochrome thin wall mild stainless steel manifold is a real quality piece. I'm one happy customer.
