Default Testing VDO pressure sender

VDO says to test a pressure sender by checking resistance from the sender pole to ground. I've got two senders and both are reading around 4 ohm. My VDO pressure gauge using either sender is reading low compared to a mechanical gauge I tried.

Can someone confirm that their VDO sender reads around 10 ohm (with car off).

I don't want to send this back before making sure it's defective. I also tried two voltmeters with the same results.

Thanks,
Frank

Thanks. I'm assuming there's some error +/- but mine both seem too far off to read accurately. Haven't tested with the car on yet so I'll try that.
