Is there any market for shells?

I am stripping my 96 down and selling off all the parts from it and will be left with a shell. If the shell is straight, the rear quarter panels are perfect and has a title, is it worth anything? Most of the ones I see for free are all beat up.
I thought about keeping it as a rolling chasis with nothing other than what it needed to roll, but i didn't know if a car that stripped was worth anything either.

I couldn't give away the first one I had, we just take them to the scrap yard now.

Well Damn it. That's what I thought anyway. I could make a boat out of it, but too many projects already. I will see if any of the GRM $200X guys want it, then i will just scrap it.
I'm seriously considering that.

MetalMan, locally sells his shells to the spec and other racing groups but he doesn't fully strip them down. He leaves enough of the suspension on to make it a rolling roll shell and then sell that all off.

If you can wait a little, I have a couple customers of mine that are up north that need stuff from time to time. I could make a stop by there with it if and when they call.
Robert, what is left on the car? Is it completely stripped including wiring harness?
Gary@ trackdog has always been able to sell his shells. He normally includes subframes and wiring harnesses and if the buyer wants more, he negotiates it into the price.

Hmmmmm....... If thats the case I'll have to make arrangements to store it, which shouldn't be hard. Then I get to build a miata from the ground up. yaaaay!

I need the wiring harness and the whole rear subframe. The front suspension will be intact.
