If you have a good understanding of the structure of the seat and you need to only cut fabric/oam, not steel to do this - you could go ahead.
I would not touch any metal part of the seat, because you may or will be weakening it's structural integrity. And if this is the case you may as well replace your 4-pnt by a 4-pnt ASM belt and be safer. |
