So im doing some work on my car right now and by that i mean. A new engine with forged internals, and larger valves/ported head/intake/turbo manifold, and new koni race shocks and ground control coil overs with 550 fronts and 350 rears, and a new RX7 rear end. O almost forgot full roll cage. I figured i need a new BOV because the knock off HKS i have sucks. What sould i get? I see the Synapse BOV all over you tube are they any good? I also like the way the Greddy type S sounds but how is the quality?

I'm using a Chinese knockoff of a Greddy Type RS, purchased from an eBay seller for ~$50. It replaced my old-style FM BOV which kept seizing. The new one has been in there for nearly two years w/ zero maintenance and has been problem free. All I did was open it up and remove the smaller of the two springs, add a K&N filter on the outlet, and I have a nice quiet VTA BOV.

My HKS use to work great, untill i took it off and let it sit for a couple of weeks to smog my car and when i put it back on all i hear is flutter. I thought of getting a new diapham and spring but didn know if it would fit just right becuase its not a real HKS.
I know someone that has the real HKS and it makes the same fluttering sound. BTW there are some youtube videos of the real HKS in action.
FWIW mine does not flutter at all. It just makes a high-pitch pssshhhhhhhhhh hissing sound.
