Default Transmission support question

I pulled my motor yesterday and was wondering how much support the transmission needs when it's not bolted to the engine.

Right now it's got my 2.5 ton floor jack with a 4x4 holding it up and was wondering if putting the cross brace back in would be enough to properly support it so I can put it on the ground to shut my HOA up.

Just take a metal coat hanger slip it through the front top bolt hole of the trans and tie off against somewhere in the engine compartment.

Yeah, I just took all of the bellhousing/starter bolts out. I'll combine both of your recommendations and reinstall the support and wire tie it to something.

Thanks guys!
