Default TSI (Tun Signal Intake) Opinions

Hello All,

I would like to gather everyone's opinion on TSI's. Opinions on appearance, performance, and price. I wanted to buy some a little while back, and found that there wasn't really anything good available; at least not for a decent price.

I know of two different styles; a plastic scoop shaped intake. or a metal grill like intake. both with a turn signal light in the corner. what do you like better and why? and how much would you pay for a set?

Give your opinions!

Functionally, they hurt cooling because they equalize the pressure around your main heat exchangers. The object should be to seal around your intercooler, radiator, etc. so that no air can get around them without going through them. TSI's are a direct air path around the heat exchangers.

The only real purpose for a TSI would be to support a cold air intake. To do this, you need to build a box around your intake for the TSI to feed.

Other than that . . . RICE!!!!!
