Default Turbo miata day!!!

Saturday November 15th I am having a gathering of Turbo Miatas at my house. We will be meeting at FASTLANE Performance @ 10am on FM 1960 just East of Jones Road. Look for the big sign that says, "Turn Here For HORSEPOWER". A fellow Turbo Miata owner has the Dyno there from 10-2 for Stef from BEGi to tune his car. Afterward we will be going to my house for miata talk, food and later that night UFC 91. If you are in the Houston area and want to see some sweet Turbo Miatas (you don't need to own one but it helps) then come by. Everyone is invited, even you Hustler!

Lots of Hookers, Not so much Blow!...........Mikef85, if your car was done it would be worth the $500, in fact, it would be woth twice that. Hurry up!

I'm running a GT2860RS and XEDE piggyback. When BEGi dyno'd it, it was the most powerful car they had done with the XEDE at the time. I think it still is. Mikef85 is doing my motor build soon and when it's done we're going to max out my 2860. I'm doing rods, pistons, valves, springs, retainers, arp studs, ati dampener, dual feed fuel rail and 750cc injectors. I have a sneaking suspicion that I will be getting a 3071 or 3076 sooner than later.

Neat. I'm picking up a S4/Xede/2560 this weekend which I'm sure will spool up earlier than my current car, but it's making less power overall. I want that top end punch too like yours.

You're looking at some stupid big turbos. A 2871 would be more appropriate, or maybe a 2876.

In time, I plan to replace the 2560 with a 2871, and hook it up to an extra 01 motor in my garage.

Good luck with the build.

hehe. I'd settle for a 4LE80 swap kit. Would be sweet transmission for sub 500HP setups IMO. Glides are for <10 sec. cars.

Default Oh come on now Mikey!

After driving my car you have to admit that there is something to be said for driving a 250+rwhp Miata through the twists and turns of the National Forest. I'll admit that ripping off sub 10sec quarter miles is quite a blast if you admit that 90+mph turns Kick ***. Lots of ***!

I'll meet you halfway there.

I guess I need another one for corners....of course I would probably end up doing something crazy on that end of the spectrum also.

HAHA, I should get another green 2002....everyone will be wondering to themselves "Is that the fast one?"
