Default Twitching Oil Pressure Gauge

So, recently i have noticed that my oil pressure gauge twitches all the time. It looks like there is knock even at idle or cruise or boost or whenever. I have check the oil and the level is good. It is worse when the oil is warm and the pressure is lower. Any ideas? In the mean time i have my wastegate unhooked so i have very little boost.

Thanks in advance

-Wes

Haha, thanks for your sympathy. Luckily im pretty patient. I just try to take it one problem at a time and learn as i go without ******* anything up along the way. Hopefully, eventually, i can look back and say damn, i put a lot of work in to that car but it was so worth it.

Anyway, on topic, thats kind of what i was thinking, sending unit. Oh, i forgot to mention, it is a real analog OPG and sender that i bought from a guy on the forums, IDK how many miles it had on it.

that happened to mine for a little, but someone suggested just to dust it off and clean the contact area some. it works fine. someone else also told me it could be a sign of a failing oil pump.

clean the contact area like, on the sender or on the back of the gauge? Failing oil pump would be gay.
