Default V8 Roasters Unresponsive

Hey Guys,

I ordered some parts on backfriday from V8R and still haven't gotten any kind of order update or shipping date ect. So I have called and emailed them to see if I can get an estimated delivery date. Does anyone know if they took the month of December off? I called them prior to my order to make sure I had selected the right stuff and now all i get is radio silence. Starting to get worried here.

I do know that it seemed that most orders, like a sub-frame, or A-arms, etc. are made up after you order/pay for them, so it was about 1 month between my order and shipping it out. Knowing that from reading others posts, I ordered all the stuff for my LFX build way ahead of when I thought I'd need it, and it worked out. Not sure why you are not hearing back from them 'tho.

V8R orders can a long time to ship, and it can be hard to get someone on the phone. This is kind of par for the course, but you'll get some stuff sooner or later. And then eventually all of your stuff. Not telling you to not worry, but that's just the way it is.

this was just brake kits, so i guess I would have expected the adapter brackets to be off the shelf.

I made a black Friday purchase from them. I received an order confirmation right away. Then an email that they would notify me when they would start production on the a-arms and subframe. I received an email this morning that my order was being built.

Nice, then you are only about 6 months out from being able to drive the car with the new parts.

Finally got an email back looks like they are waiting on new calipers from Stoptech which should be in by the end of this week.

They've got a lot of parts on the Shelf. Some of it comes from different places though so it can be held up occasionally. No worries. It will all come.

And black Friday's a busy time.

Received an email from fedex that I will be getting a delivery from v8roadsters on the 30th.

It'll be deilvered via flat rate boxes.

I've only been there 4 or 5 times and the UPS guy was there two of them.

amazon use to do that. They would send it fedex to the local usps station and then delivery it. it would take a day to get to Houston from another state and 3 days to make it to my house

Yes, in the past they have. I assume it is more the flatrate boxes were free and on hand, more then anything else.
