Default Which Valve Seals are Best

So I am planning to do some maintenance on my 1.6 miata soon, and bought Supertech Viton valve seals, but after seeing people like car passion channel post up that they failed 1500 miles in is worrying me about using them. Should I buy the supermiata aka Felpro seals or just run the supertechs I have laying around. I really don't want to pay up for oem's.

Well trackspeed sells the exact viton supertech seals I have ( VS-T6E ) So should I run them, or go with the supermiata's from 949? You guys seem to be supporting both, and people tend to say oem's are 120-200 dollars. Which I find a little ridiculous

If oem seals are proven for hundereds of thousands of miles in over 1,000,000 miatas (i googled that) safe to say oem is good to go and worth the cash

Well just called up my local Mazda, and they said $160. Guess I'll take your guys word that they are worth it and throw the supertechs in the parts bin to collect dust.

Well if you guys keep saying the supermiata aka felpros are good that would save some money. So I guess anyone chime in on your experiences with valve seals.

Replace your valve guides if needed or none will seal as well as they should.

Not that I know if they need to be replaced or not yet, but where can I get some if I do need to. I saw 5x sells oems but they cost 240 something a set... Is that not a lot for this type of thing?

You really should register for a Mazda Motorsports account. The OEM seals are $116.12 shipped

Aren’t OEM seals made by NOK? And NOK owns/absorbed other companies like STONE. STONE seals are like $1.50 each. I have no experience with the seals I just know that according to the research I’ve done NOK makes our oem seals and since they own Stone it isn’t far fetched to think they could be one and the same seal. Anyone have any info on this?
