Vgauges-Water/Oil temp gauge install question
ive got this:
vGauges But cant seem to find any sort of instructions, google turns up little to nothing about this company and it looks like only a few on here have even linked vgauges to the site. Its got: Red/Black/Green on top i assume black is ground and red is power, but wtf is green? White & Gray on the bottom, im assuming these are the inputs for the "temp" sensors. Anyone have any idea? I emailed vgauges looking for instructions but found nothing elsewhere. Edit: looks like i found what im looking for here: http://veisystems.com/technical.html Only thing is, their part numbers are all scrambled up. Edit #2 Gray= water temp White=oil temp Green= lights Red= switched 12v ( main power ) Black= ground |
Looks like you found it. Good job. The green is supposed to be for the dimmer.
I love my vgauges. |
Which gauges do you have? Do you mind posting some pics? They look like quality gauges but i was a bit hesitant upon purchasing mine. Not much info about them.

Don't you have the gauge in your hand now to look at in person? :)
Sorry about the shitty cell pics. |
I just installed my water/oil temp gauge and the readings are way off. I can't find much for instructions out there. Do they need to be calibrated or something? Also, does it matter how the wire is connected to the sensor?

Sensor: D1-OTF-WTF-M I don't believe it matters how its connected. I am yet to have my car running so I am un sure if it reads "correct" or not yet. |
