I'm sure there is no legal obligation since you're out there on the track, but you would think that the driver of the IS with all that lexus cashola would throw you a bone to fix up your stuff since it was pretty much all his fault.

+1, I agree with compy
Any updates? |

Rappadan - I have finally excepted the fact that this hobby of ours will find out how much money we have, how much we can borrow, and spend every last dime of it. But, I wouldn't change it for the world, as the satisfaction I get from it is def. priceless. ;)

he is my age(23) and eariler in the day i had joked with him b/c it seems like he does every single event, and he was like watever dude "i'm broke" so just because he has an IS dosent mean he's rolling in it. I'm just glad that i have to hang a new door. not try and straighten my rear end. line up the trunk, and line up a new bumper. he def got it rough. I have a friend of mine that is redoing my cage for basically cost of material and then some so its not hurting me that much.

He he.....that's why he's broke. :giggle:

Either he's got money or his parents do.

This thread just reminds me of a quote I had read here before. Would be better if I could remember the name of the driver that said it. Hell it might have even been earlier in this thread. Some racer said...
"Never track a car you aren't financially prepared to throw off a cliff" If you push limits something is going to happen. Your fault, someone elses fault doesn't matter. BMW club day the z3 with about 30k in mods hit both walls right in front of me. Not a straight panel left on the car. Porsche club earlier this year, little rain on the track and the 2002 Porsche turbo with gutted interior, roll cage and a driver with a ton of experience hit the tire wall HARD. Porsche club last year, I wasn't there, Viper totaled on the wall of the main straight exiting the final corner. Track a car and cars get broke. |

I'm gonna call BS on him being broke. A high mileage IS is 9k, not counting the crazy costs of the turbo kits + upgrades needed on those cars. ;) Judging by his FMIC I'd say he has the PFS kit which is like 6k?
