water hose size?

trying to find out what adapter size i need for my water tem gauge, going to tap into the hoses at the rear of the engine on the exhaust side.

anyone know the proper size? thanks!

the heater core hoses?

those are 5/8" i believe.

where is everyone getting their adapter? The smallest ive found is 28mm, which is about 1.1 inches...

Why not just use a brass "T" with two barbed hose fittings and an adapter to get the 3rd side to 1/8" NPT for the sending unit. 5/8" is not standard, but I assume you could make it fit 3/4".

Your solution could be as close as your nearest Home Depot.
