We are going again! Not LeMons but Chumpcar this time. Doing a true 24 hour race at VIR in the end if July. Not looking forward to the heat but we have "upgraded" the cooling system in true lemons fashion. We also have to address the issue if lights...there currently not any and that is not going to work. Some pics below.

Team of driers will include 4 friends and me.

Car had "newly modified" suspension and now sits much lower and after testing at "DriftWater" (local drift track rental) last Sunday I think we are happy with the new setup. Cooling system did not build any pressure all day during its full tank of gas beating.

Car is going for paint this week....with a roller of coarse, 1/4" nap works best.

Anyone here run both Chumpcar and LeMons have any works of Wisdom?

 

What's with the radiator? Just a huge *** one? Shoulda done a diy dual pass. Just plug one radiator into another.

 

A few of us ran VIR last July and all of the Miatas we brought overheated in a 20 minute session. I'm mot spending all this cash to get there to over heat in 20 minutes.
