Default Why is my alternator glowing???
I've been installing my turbo and supporting mods and when i started it up last night the alternator makes whirring noise with a a blue glow? Did something fall into it? Grounding issue? Whats going on?

Wow, how trick.


Brushes arcing because of weak rings against the slip rotor? It looks old. Just install CARQUEST #13460A and rest easy. 100A direct drop in.

I wonder if I can stick an LED in there to get the same effect. Those underglow car kits are out. Glowing ancillary components are in!
