What to do.

Default What to do.

Hello all,

Taking my engine to a machine shop tomorrow to get an assessment to figure out what went wrong with my built motor. Long story short do I find an engine and slap my turbo on it or bore out to 85mm? How much boost can a stock engine handle? At this point I do not know to proceed. I guess waiting to get the full picture on the damage from the machine shop findings is best then ask the forum this question. But here are pics of the damage to the block with forged internals 84mm bore on Manley rods and super tech pistons with double valve spring and super tech valves. I did speak with super tech and they want me to mail them the valves so they can inspect them.

It anyone has a plan on how to proceed let me know. I the fab9 tubular manifold with the EFR 6758 turbo. I know my block needs to be resurfaced and probably a new head. If a stock head and block can handle 15 PSI I rather do that just so I can enjoy my car. Not sure what happened to this engine that was supposedly built by a knowledgeable shop. I have the 4 shim boundary oil pump.
