What do you think of the Miata Italias, designed/built by Simpson Design...? The body styling reminds me of the Ferrari 275 NART, and the Shelby Cobra Daytona Spyder.

 

I think it's hideous, and I have no respect for people who spend money on it.

 

Nice attempt, but the proportions are just wrong enough that the whole thing looks awkward to me.

Have seen it in person. Not a fan.

 

What is really hideous is the body styling of the new Miata! What were the current designers at Mazda thinking? They ruined what has been, for the past two decades, a beautifully designed roadster.

I Don't support it...if you like a Ferrari, go buy a Ferrari. Don't put a kit on a miata or a fiero, it's a waste of money.

 

It's an ok idea, bad in execution. The Italia, were it designed as a car not based on the Miata, would need to be a foot or so longer to look right.
