Default what oil to use with 1.6 greddy kit turbo?

Running stock 5psi boost setup and 50k mi on engine rebuild and 300k mi on chasis. I was thinking synthetic 0w-40 but what would you guys reccomend? Im in southern california and temps are average, i will mainly be doing city driving and occasional canyon runs, no tracking/racing yet. also would i use same amount of oil (3.6q) or add more because of turbo? Thanks everyone

5w-40 of your choice. Most of us use Rotella T6. Quality Synthetic without breaking the bank.

There is a thing called a dipstick. You check your oil level with it. If it reads nominal, you are fine. If not, add oil. Overfilling due to a turbo makes no sense and will cause it to aerate damaging your engine.

Check often after you've driven it hard.

+1 on using Rotella T6. Affordable and my engine runs good.
