I look forward to a thread outlining your learning process and findings. Composites aren't all that difficult, but I've mainly only dealt with flat panel and non-complex curvatures. Whatever, if you're interested enough, you'll make it happen.

I'm not against you making parts or wanting to try cool new stuff, all I'm sayin is start small and work your way up

I think you are jumping on the gun Vlad. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt on this one. I started out a major doubter, but he is actually giving this a shot.

In for updates. If you fail I will be very sad because Vlad will shove it in my face.

Have you seen my car? I can occasionally make shit too.

My car does look like shit now. I will be peeling the dip off soon. I will shoot actual paint on it in the next couple years. In my head of have the snakeskin green off of a viper in mind. I use my car to demonstrate the pros of plastidip to customers. It has random spots I have peeled for people on it and the front has random rock chips on it from the last year in a half of daily driving. It cost me 300 with buying the spray setup and can be peeled off at a given notice. It does what I need and that's it. As I start the carbon fiber stuff I will just add it to my build thread and conduct my sales of those pieces out of it as well. Thanks for the ideas and I will post in my thread as the ideas become reality. I was not under the impression that the timing covers were still available. I will stick with the vvt covers since it appears they are unavailable.
