So my hood's paint got destroyed in the fire. I have a emerald 00'. I have a mazdaspeed decal across the front of the hood. My idea was to sand it down and leave the decal. Paint it glossy black and then remove the decal to reveal the factory emerald in the mazdaspeed lettering.

Unless the rest of the car was black, I'd say it's a bad idea.

 

its dark green with black wheels, roll bar and black racing seats. Oh and I painted the inside of my headlights black.

 

Strip and repaint, the sticker idea sounds like a badone.

 

do it up that sounds like it would be cool as hell

 

i like black/white hoods, the contrast is nice, but do it nice so it doens't look :gay:
