I am running Tein S's on my car, and while they do lower the car a good bit, they are entirely too soft for a sports car. I will probably end up some FM springs before all is said and done.

patsmx5 if your looking to raise your car higher than stock already with oversized tires you need to sell your miata and buy a 4x4.

15" Heliums w/Toyo 195 T1R's on stock ride height w/1.6 brakes. I've got the larger 1.8's in there now and it makes a big difference in the overall look with the bigger rotors in there.

is that with 205-50's?
mine doesn't look too bad on stock height with 15" Kosei K1's and 205-50-15 tires. Not half as bad as an NC on stock wheels and suspension... |

Sam, your car looks great like that.
These are the 205/40-16s (remember wheels/tires $75): Attachment 214305 205/50-15s: Attachment 214306 Its OK, I'm color blind. j/k |
What is the widest drag radial that will fit on the stock daisies in the rear? 205/50-14?

205/50 x16 (rears) here ... looks great. In theory the m.net crowd would pelt me with their wine and cheese from messing up the scrub radius :fawk:, but in practise it's fine.
I did have 215/50 x16 on before that, that was also a mean look! It looked slammed altho my springs are only about an inch lower than stock (4" if you're a '96 like me, lol). With a turbo you'll be lucky to even notice the ~5% difference in tire diameter. |
