running around hallett and my car started smelling like sulfur after running hard but on cool down the smell stops. people on the side of the track can even smell it. only thing i can think of if my carbotech x12s seeing as this is the first time i have cooked them good at the track and they where even smoking after not having a real cool off lap.

I always associated that smell with a battery going bad. That's the smell my bike made when the voltage regulator stopped working and fried the battery.

I found out that my hub rings where melting. The back of the rings are melted and I had to prie them off. might have been the smell of it melting.

Possibly. I had the same experience the first time I took my old Civic to the track. The plastic/ polycarbonate hub rings really don't like getting hot.
