Parts to pull A/C condenser
So I'm deleting my A/C condenser box for a footwell sub box we're going to glass in and I was wondering if this kit contains all of the items required to install the duct? I keep seeing in the diagrams some sort of pins that clip into this (see the hole on the rectangle side of the duct):
AIR DUCT KIT (PKNA01-61-150A) - $32.95 - PKNA0161150A
The plan is to have the box use the space by the firewall, run along the transmission tunnel some and if there's any extra room from swapping out the condenser, fill that area as well. I'm hoping we don't lose too much leg room, and figure saving 6#s should help offset the added weight from the box+sub.
The goal is of course to still be removable but sound good and be strong because passengers tend to want to use their legs to brace for cornering, I'd hate to hear a loud CRACK when I take an onramp
