I'm actually running 225/45/16's and they don't rub. I had to massage the fender liners a bit, but other than that, no prob! I am on RB springs and Koni's

On a 17" wheel you will need to use 205/40/17 and that will be TIGHT depending on how low the car is. If you want to step to 45 do a 2x5/45/16.
