Where the hell does this bracket go? Somewhere by the CAS & Coilpack, but I can't figger it out.

Pretty much how you have it orientated in the pic is how it is installed. CAS bracket - nothing to do with coil packs.
*** Edit*** I don't do fancy diagrams like Brain or Joe, but I am sure is in the works as we speak.

Ok, you can just see it here in this pre-dissasembly pic.

Assuming it's on correctly here, it appears to me that it serves no purpose.

That is also how mine was before. I just left mine off. I couldnt see any real purpose.

The purpose of that bracket is to hold the stock 02 sensor connector.

Savington 03-11-2009 03:06 PM

Didn't include that one when I swapped the CAS to the 99 block.

Machismo 03-11-2009 03:16 PM

I agree with its purpose....doesn't seem to have a real purpose. Always wondered WTF is this for?

Are you sure about that? There's a hole on the driver side of the coil pack bracket which the o2 sensor connector clips into.

No purpose? So its similar to the bracket that holds up the intake, oh yea, that's the oil filter knuckle buster bracket.
