Who manufactures the connectors for Mazda...
especially for the engine harness?
I am in need of a special connector of the 1,6 NB engine harness (which is neraly identical with the 1,8 harness) Does anyone know, who produces all the connectors inside the engine bay for mazda. (Tyco doesn't seem, because they only have the ECU connectors) Any idea? Thanks Sven |
Tyco makes the connectors, specifically their company AMP. Look at the DIY MS writeup Braineack put together for the places to buy them.

Well, thanks for all that - but it wasn't what I need.
I was looking for this connector: http://www.ingenieure-reichel.de/upl...er/COP_001.jpg http://www.ingenieure-reichel.de/upl...er/COP_005.jpg It's because I will be able to use my long done COP harness with the MS. That 6-pin connector connects a 6-pin y-cable with the OEM coils - I want to use this connector to make my COP harness plug and play (and always be able to go back to OEM coils without a lot of work) Now - (which is surely also important for the one that was searching the TPS connector) - I know the manufacturer for the connectors - it's Sumitomo Electric The type of connectors is called Type SL. Here is a PDF file which also includes the connector I need. http://www.sws.co.jp/en/product/connector/pdf/wp_sl.pdf Page 6 - Part-Nr. 6189-0648 But I am not able to find this thing anywhere to buy... Tyco produces a nearly similar connector called Econoseal J-series Mark II+ http://catalog.tycoelectronics.com/T...s/th174257.jpg But this one is missing the two "dividers"? which you can see in my first pic. @Braineack - damn, if I would have known your offer -before I orderd the wire extension at boomslang... too late now.
