Well, that sums things up nicely :) Thanks Joe! I've actually got a pair of AEMs, I'll have to put the meter on them one of these days and increase your sample size.

The LC1 takes all of 1 minute to set up... Once it's set up, it's setup... You only have to calibrate it once the sensor is dead (our common widebands share same bosch sensor).

If you spend any time reading that article you'd see that the widebands use the same sensor. The controller on the other hand is what differs and the different controllers pull the data at different rates. In other words you configure the LC1 per the sensor to be exact... the UEGO uses a basic calibration as the reason why you dont have to calibrate it ever and a slower controller so it updates slower. No calibration means margin of error.
