|
I thought people around here actually worked on their cars to make them faster
|

Yeah, removing that shit made your car so much faster :ugh: |

MXV has a kick ass clean engine bay, go check out that thread, this has all been done
|
Wire tuck sounds like something gay guys do for fun.
|
it looks hawt
|
If you tuck all the wires then how do you splice into everything? If you don't have a rats nest of wires all over the place how would you ever get power for all you new sensors, solenoids, relays and all the other shit we add to our cars bi-weekly/monthly?
j/k But I see no need. |
jeezus
Is there a ban quota or something? |

Its a waste of fucking time btw. If I could have all the hours back that I spent polishing and running wire, umm...I'd have like...um...a lot of time back. |

I think those vw's look sick.

some nice paint work there for sure. those poeple would have a heart attack looking at my engine bay though
|
it's amazing how much body work goes into a wire tuck. serious bondo work there.

I removed my overflow bottle quite a while ago. Try it (trust me) for a few days and you will see that your coolant never really goes low or overflows after the initial drive. You will stay about 1" below the top of your rad at all times. My car has been like this for about 2 years now and have never had a single problem. My overflow hose (from the rad cap) goes straight down towards the ground. |
I did a mild wire tuck and got rid of the egr, canister, and relocated the overflow. I think it looks pretty good, but needs some paintwork eventually.
Here is a thread with a few pictures. -Michael- |

I agree. I love the look, but don't know if I'll ever actually take the time to do it. |
thx wide ;) after i installed my starion ic i was looking for a alu rad. but i couldnīt get one here at germany :(
gts miata time wasnīt a big porblem i drive my car only from spring to autum ;) so there are nearly 6 months time to spent for needless thing like hieding the wires :D but it was fun |

^^Wow. Very nice.
|
you know if you're in to weight savings, and from the look of your engine bay I think you are? two bolts and that bracket for the stock airbox will come out. don't think you'll be using it anytime soon. as well as the one with the bolt sticking straight up.
|
good catch curly, ive taken that out of mine as well.
|
MXV - Your bay is simply amazing!!!! PLEASE post more pics in VBgarage so i can drool some more.
WOT - Always loved your Lugana blue. So rare! You shoulda kept it! |
