Default WOOHOO!! New radiator is in!!

Took long enough, but got the thicker core radiator, some 12" fans, and rigged it all to work. a little sheet metal, a dremel, and a bunch of cutting wheels did the trick. and the space in between the sheet metal and radiator has been closed off by the most expensive tape in the world. found it at home depot; it is 'extreme weather' tape. its the same finish as the aluminum, super sticky, and very tough, and cost me $20 for a roll. word of advise for someone with little experience like myself....if one hose goes, replace all hoses!! this whole process started with one busted radiator hose, so i decided to swap out my radiator while i'm at it. got the new radiator in, then my water pumped started to leak. got that replaced then my heater hose busted the next day. all in all, i'm 100% sorta kinda confident i fixed all the leaks.

Another side note. If you ever have the engine out replace all the small coolant hoses to/from the heater core, oil cooler, and throttle body (if you choose to keep these lines) while you are at it. The oil cooler lines in particular are an absolute ***** to reach in the car.

What type of radiator is it? How much it cost? Where did you get it from. Those are all questions I am interested in.

its a godspeed radiator, $160 from the group buy. fans were from ebay for about $60 shipped. far warning on the radiator, when people say its not a direct mount, they mean it. there is some custom rigging to keep that in place too. i'll take some pics later today and post em.

Ok It looked like my godspeed, but I just wanted to make sure. I will def say that my godspeed needed a little TLC to get it in.
