So I finally got the engine back in after putting in a new crank and bearings. I didnt fuck around and rinsed it out with oil 2 times before putting the good stuff in (castrol synthetic) first just cranking and second after running 5 or so minutes. I only drove it around the block really quick because i gotta go to work and i don't think I've enough gas to get me to a station. Blew an intercooler pipe because i didnt tighten the clamp :vash:

So anyway, now i can thinking about getting a shop to install the 3.9 and mmr diff mounts, and get it tuned on a dyno. Oh and for those who are new, i have an engine i rebuilt myself with carillo rods (dont trust my work though lol), begi gt2554 turbo/intercooler setup, Megasquirt 1v3 w/ LC1, Rx7 7" diff, tein basic's, and and most importantly a messed up interior.

There is that good looking engine bay with the sexy cam gears again. No body acted like they knew what I was talking about last time you posted that picture so I made a comparison. Also I figured it would be good for speedracerTD04. :bigtu:

Clicking the attachment may not be work safe. I guess it depends on your work...

Congrats on your DIY engine work. I give you props for tackling that yourself.

akaryrye, could you shoot some more detailed photos of your exhaust manifold and turbo position, specifically the compressor outlet? That's an unclocked T25-flange turbo, right?
