Lol!!!
Nice to see your attempt at coming out of the closet!
Prove it, skirt.

DoapParts 03-19-2013 12:56 PM

Superchargers can be great, however most people will nudge you into a Turbo setup instead.
Me being one of them.

Wuga 03-19-2013 08:34 PM

yeah i plan on going with a gt2560r, and piecing the kit together with some new parts and other used

DoapParts 03-20-2013 04:04 AM

Very exciting, keep us up to date!

willy 04-08-2013 02:29 PM

So I have most of the parts collected however I discovered I have an oil leak!! Good news when I looked under the car it looks as if its the rear main seal (there's oil all around where the transmission and engine join) so ill pull the engine fix that an mount the turbo

18psi 04-08-2013 04:30 PM

make sure to top off the flux capacitor

Might as well junk the car.

??

The flux capacitor used on the Miata (at least on the '90-'05 models) should have a sealed cap and a vent line which goes to the outside. If yours has a fill port on the top, I would seriously consider replacing it with an OEM-equivalent unit before it leaks dark matter all over the inside of the car. That stuff is impossible to clean up from the upholstery, and you *really* don't want it coming in contact with your skin.

18psi 04-08-2013 05:04 PM

I heard the "OEM style" aftermarket units are rebuild-able, but OP might want to consult his local dealership.

miata2fast 04-08-2013 05:18 PM

Nope! Can't get it from the dealer anymore. You will have to go to the junkyard and get one. It is a real bitch to get it out. Just ask one of the part pullers at the junkyard on how to remove it.

18psi 04-08-2013 05:19 PM

Oh wow good thing Braineak and hustler stocked up on a bunch of them recently.

OP just PM either of them and ask

BTMiata 04-08-2013 05:23 PM

All the ball busting in this thread today and I can't believe nobody said anything about this douchebag spamming his way to 10 posts to make a FS thread...

report him

*edit: though since he's not really a n00b I think he'll just get a slap on the wrist

Wuga 04-08-2013 05:27 PM

Hey man I didn't intentionally spam or anything sorry if I did...

Not you... Willy. And yeah I noticed he joined in 2009 but still he posted like 4 times within 5 minutes and then created a FS thread

Willy's transgression was noted.

I felt myself overcome by lenience, as he has been lurking silently upon the forum for several years.

Besides, if he had not spammed this thread, then we would have been deprived of a funny cat picture.

18psi 04-08-2013 05:29 PM

he was talking about a different n00b, my Wuga

Wuga please

Hahaha this is true!

Wuga 04-08-2013 05:32 PM

Haha sorry thought it was me, anyways yeah ill definitely check my flux capacitor hopefully it doesn't need replacing

18psi 04-08-2013 05:33 PM

Yeah bro and while you're in there make sure your proton thrusters are up to snuff

That's a known issue with Miata's, I think there was a recall at some point.

Wuga 04-08-2013 05:33 PM

Do you think I should check the hyperdrive?

18psi 04-08-2013 05:34 PM

nope those are solid

Gryff 04-08-2013 08:22 PM

10/10 A+ would read again.
