You can run 225-45r15 on a 7 inch rim to i am running a 225-50 r15 as is Andy i believe and several others for an 8 inch i would try some hoosier 250-50 R 15's or something fatter the rear isnt the problem it is the front. |
imitation 3 piece with plastic bolts.

I like the 6ULs also, but adding it up on their site, the total comes to $978 + $71 shipping, whereas the same setup with these is $700 + mounting + shipping for the tires.
We'll say <$800 total versus $1050. Plus, I think these look better. :P Why 15x8? FOR THA PIMPNESS OBVIOUSLY! |
Not really, did you see the pictures on that page?

I'm not really into the group buy wheels either, i just don't think I would like them on my NB.
The car came with these Imagines though. Heavy as hell if nothing else, atleast 21 lbs. Came with BFG Gforce KDW rubber though. http://wayneswheels2000.com/KONIG-Imagine-Opal.jpg |

yeah, i don't htink they'd look great on a NB either. they're old school JDM, yo.
I'd love to have some super expensive work or watanabe wheels, but for 1/3 the price, these sport maxes will do fine. example: Attachment 216986 |
They are definitley old school and good for that. Those wheels you just posted are pretty nice. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing with my wheel setup. I'd like to get some 16x8's and drop the suspension an inch one day with some Tein COs. I'm still running stock suspension which is the only reason these 17" konig's don't rub I think.
|
On a side note, someone sell me their old wheels once they get new ones.
|
Wanna buy my OEM Hollowspokes? :D
|
If the price is right, i may be interested.
|
the thing sucks about the 501s is the whacked lug holes- it's like a shot gun blast :barf:
otherwise they'd be hotness |
hmm... price jumped to 450... i don't understand why his shop can't buy the other 3 sets and save everyone $50. i don't like that.
fuck it, that pisses me off. I can wait till i actually need new tires... maybe something else will come along. and yeah, its too bad they made them with eight lug holes, but that's what you get with cheap wheels. actually his shop is getting the others, so it just went up 50$ for fun.:ugh2: |
I like the way those Drag DR20s look, but they're a "normal" 38 offset and 7.5"
definitely qualify as "cheap" @ under $400/set http://www.dragwheels.com/image.asp?...502&height=500 bronze set for $395 delivered |
yah see, now that's what i'm talkin bout. it would be nicer if they were +25 or so, but I guess you can run a bigger tire with +38. and they come in gold. i just gotta decide: sweet low offset, or less lug holes?
|
dare I say "s p a c e r s"? :dunno:
|
Well it's not just being flush with the fenders, it's the deep stepped lip that is the attraction of the 501s.
Plus it looks like gold dr20s with spacers will be about $550. Oh well, I've got two sets of 14" tires to burn through till I need to worry about new wheels anyway. |
I debated over a week between these wheels and the 6UL's.... my car being stricly for track the 6UL's made more sense.. and I got quoted $290 for a set of 002's. The offset is too low IMO.
