okay n/m i just cranked it a few turns till it tightened more and now it's perfect =)

I replaced the rubber gasket, it leaked.

I also had to buy a new cap, the one that came with it was crap and leaked.

Other than that worked great!:)

what did you replace it with? a larger thicker gasket?

damn, i caught this a little too late. i'm looking for a decent aftermarket radiator to replace my stock one that likes to heat up. is this deal still going? what has everyone thought about the godspeed vs. other aftermarket radiators?

it's still going...you may have to wait a little while till they get more in stock, we usually buy most of their stock before they get in from China

For 200bux you are not going to find a better radiator, they fit perfect and look great. I had to really rev the piss out of the engine to get it warm enough to turn the fan on, otherwise it will idle forever no fan nessecary lol.

Just called them today. They are out of stock but expect more in 2-3 weeks.

I called them yesterday, was told more will be in, about 2-3 weeks, closer to 3 weeks. CG said they would still honor the deal because so many have been purchased by this group (and other groups). Looks like May 15th would be a good time to call again.

Anybody have a godspeed they didn't install yet? Looks like my rad started to split this morning. If someone has theirs sitting in a closet that they won't be touching for a little while, I'll order you a new one if you send me yours.

FWIW, they said it would be 4 weeks before the new batch is in.

So what about the NB fitment?

The radiator fits in an NB width wise but the filler neck is too tall. The only way to get the hood to close is to modify your lower radiator brackets so the radiator sits lower or cut a hole in the bracing of your hood. I suggest the first option.

Ok, well I am moving the radiator down and back for an over the top IC pipe setup, so that shouldn't be too bad. Is it just the filler neck that is too tall, or is the overall radiator size taller?

The filler neck on the NA's is more towards the side while the NB's are towards the middle of the OEM radiator, these radiators were designed for NA's so you have to make it fit. Pretty much, you get a $160 radiator, it's not drop in and forget, but it works well and has a 1 year warranty. It suits 99% of the peoples needs here.

Ok just called... Said still 2weeks out, and was pretty confident bout the shipment coming in. Apparently they ship several different products in each container. It stays there till its full, and then its sent. Thats why they get shipments of these every couple months...the the AMOUNT of rads in each shipment, basically depends on how many can be manufactured by the time the container is ready to leave...
That said they are almost sold out of these on pre-orders...I was told they may have 8-10 left. After that would be about 2months till the next shipment, give or take...

On a side note, I REALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLY hope these are as good of quality as everyone says...would hate to have to wait another 2 months (total of 3) for a rad... lol

I was told by someone who ordered one today that they said 5 weeks. 4 weeks for them to get them and another week for you to receive your radiator from them.

Yes. They are out of stock no matter what. Other companies sell the same radiator apparently though not at the current arranged price.

Talked to them tonight, third week of june they have 80 coming in with 30 already spoken for, thry did appologize for the delay, but china man is slow on shipping because they have to fill up the container.
If you get it elsewhere, try to talk them down on price, we know they can go lower.

Well I'm installing a 18"x12"x4" IC in an over-the-top configuration in my NB. Looks like it is going to work well but I have a lot of fabrication work to do still, plus I am ordering parts as I go so it is taking awhile. But now that the Spurs are knocked out of the playoffs :vash: I'll have some more free time to get it finished. I'm getting tired of driving my slow-ass truck. Cushy, but slow.

I'm leaving room for the Godspeed radiator, but for now I'm going to use the stock one and hope it is OK. If it overheats problematically I'll be looking for a larger replacement. So I'll either go with this group buy or get something else (even if it costs a bit more) whichever comes first.

I'm passing the time by doing a few things...Got HD lips on there, as well as the brake system upgraded (new rotors/pads/ss lines/fluid/refreshed & painted calipers/etc), also gotta throw in my fuel pump, and I'm working on my ABS undertray at this very moment...Also have to switch oil pressure gauge & sender (from a 93), and have a steering wheel to throw in as well... All stupid things..
What I really want to address was my cooling issues, because the rest of the stuff I can do WHILE I enjoy the car...Can't do much messing around till that rad gets here..But once it does I expect to drive the shit outta my car!

I've been waiting forever, think I'm gonna a get one of there I/C's shipped at the same time wish it was sooner though.

I spent extra and got a griffin immediately. Fuck waiting.

Kenzo went to buy a radiator, they told him it's $140 local pickup, so Kenzo told me, I took care of it, you do not have to ask for CG anymore, just place your order to whoever picks up the phone. I spoke to another guy, I think he is the owner, and he assured me that they appreciate our business and will continue to sell these for $120 local pickup and $160 shipped.

Make crystal clear that you are a member here, miataturbo.net, not miata.net or any other miata forum, only miataturbo.net gets a discount, no one else.

The next shipment will be in about two weeks, maybe sooner, so order ahead if this was a concern to you.
